JACQUES MALHERBE RECEIVES AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE IN INTERNATIONAL TAX FROM BLOOMBERG BNA
Bloomberg BNA today announced that Jacques Malherbe received the 2015 Leonard L. Silverstein Award for Distinguished Service in International Tax presented by Bloomberg BNA on Monday, September 26 during the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Congress in Madrid.
The award is named in honor of Leonard L. Silverstein, a leader in the field of taxation for more than 50 years and the founder of the Tax Management Portfolios™.
“I am truly honored to receive the Leonard L. Silverstein Award for Distinguished Service in International Tax,” said Malherbe. “I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Leonard for more than 50 years and am proud to have worked with him to provide practitioners a better understanding of the nuances inherent in international tax law.”
Malherbe is currently a Partner with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick and a professor Emeritus of the University of Louvain, and a visiting professor at the universities of Hamburg and Bologna and Ecole des Huates Etudes Commerciales, France. He is the author of many textbooks on international and European taxation and Belgian corporation tax. »
